Venice Orientation walk & drink or gelato

This is perfect introductory tour to Venice so that you get to know the ins and outs just like the locals.  The tour covers the Jewish quarter and the Rialto Bridge where you’ll experience the fish and fruit market (closed on Sundays & Mondays).  While learning how to navigate the city with your private tour guide you’ll discuss Marco Polo’s trip to China as well as many Venetian stories & legends.  By this time you’ll be holding a gelato or drink in your hand while walking by the Church dedicated to Saints John & Paul followed by a glass blowing demonstration if you’d like.   Before you know it, you’ll be walking into one of the most beautiful places in Italy: Saint Mark’s Square.  The tour now covers 3 more sites, the intricate staircase Scala del Bovolo followed by the Fenice Opera House and end with a beautiful view of the Guggenheim Museum.

You may opt for a 3 hour private tour however divided into a 2 hour walking tour plus a 1 hour of private water taxi.  Your private tour guide will be with you throughout the entire tour including the boat ride.  This option allows you to cover more ground and see the Academy Bridge, the Rialto Bridge, the Guggenheim Museum and the Church of Santa Maria della Salute as well as other sites from the water taxi.  This tour will end in Saint Mark’s Square and will be customized along the way!
