Uffizi Gallery
The Uffizi Gallery tour focuses on the world famous paintings from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, then Mannerism and end with Baroque. Starting with the late Middle Ages Giotto’s Madonna & Child, we’ll see and understand the way which painters progressed into the Low Renaissance with Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and La Primavera. We’ll dive into why and how the High Renaissance painters like Leonardo Da Vinci & Michelangelo were able to develop their individual style and end the tour with Caravaggio’s Baroque “on-the-edge” lifestyle revealed in his art.
Dots are connected, stories are told and anecdotes are given throughout the tour employing the Socratic Method so everyone stays involved and has an easier time digesting all the art-history shared.
