This is perfect introductory tour to Venice so that you get to know the ins and outs just like the locals.  The tour covers the Jewish quarter and the Rialto Bridge where you’ll experience the fish and fruit market (closed on Sundays & Mondays).  

While learning how to navigate the city with your private tour guide you’ll discuss Marco Polo’s trip to China as well as many Venetian stories & legends.  By this time you’ll be holding a gelato or drink in your hand while walking by the Church dedicated to Saints John & Paul. 

Before you know it, you’ll be walking into one of the most beautiful places in Italy: Saint Mark’s Square.  The tour now covers 3 more sites, the intricate staircase Scala del Bovolo followed by the Fenice Opera House and end with a beautiful view of the Guggenheim Museum.

Murano, Mazzorbo & Burano Tour
Get off the very busy island of Venice and discover 3 islands with a local tour guide for 6 hours.

The first of the 3 stops is Murano, the world capital of glass blowing!  Murano is very small compared to Venice, but much less densely populated which allowed a perfect location for the huge glass blowing factories.

The tour includes a demonstration at one of the oldest glass blowing factories in the world!

The second stop is island of Mazzorbo, home to a unique vineyard, which still continues struggling to survive 2 months a year due to high tide flooding.

You’ll discover secrets of the Lagoon’s wine production and visit one of the local vegetable gardens.

The 3rd and last visit will be the island of Burano, famous for it’s lace production that dates back to the late 1400s, when Leonardo Da Vinci purchased one for the alter in the Duomo of Milan.

Doge’s Palace, Saint Mark’s Basilica & city walk

Venice is a city made up of 118 islands linked with over 400 bridges.  The city is divided by the Grand Canal ending in Saint Mark’s Square where the Doge’s Palace and Saint Mark’s Basilica are located.  You’ll skip the line to the Doge’s Palace to see the Room of the Great Council which held more than 2700 members during the 1500s and then through the Bridge of Sighs followed by Saint Mark’s Basilica (exterior only) and end at the Rialto Bridge.  This 3 hour walking city tour is exclusive only to your party with your 100% private tour guide.
